The Spirit Portal, Phantom Box or Wonder Box is something that has been around for many years in many different versions and configurations. They are designed to be used with spirit boxes & all kinds of ITC "Instrumental Trans- Communication" Apps and audio based spirit communication devices. They are quite simply a combination of audio processing devices linked to a central amplifier. They are also frequently further enhanced with sound-activated lighting displays, crystals and various copper wire windings thought to enhance and assist spirit communication.

These devices are intended to further help promote and advance Paranormal research.

This version of the spirit portal concept is 100% portable and runs for many hours from its rechargeable built-in power supply, it can also be run from a USB power supply continuously whilst simultaneous charging. It comes with a noise gate in order to reduce or remove white noise from scanning spirit boxes, and an echo repeat unit for additional repeats of sounds coming through the box in real-time. The effects units and power supply are set around a portable 5w amplifier that has an LED display behind the grill, incorporating pulsing ultraviolet light and a green spectrum display that illuminates vertically to indicate levels of audio coming through the live speaker. It also incorporates an illuminated clear quartz crystal with a copper wire winding. Crystals and copper combinations are believed to assist communications from energies around them. The wiring is included with the system so you only need to add your spirit box, tablet or mobile phone to the configuration via the mini-jack provided. The main wire link between the two effects units also incorporates a copper wire winding which is soldered to the metal jacks in order to further enhance communications.

Echo Delay Unit
Echo Delay unit for creating echo effects that can repeat words several times in real-time at various speed settings from around a second apart to fast reverb effect; the amount of times a sound is repeated is also adjustable.

Please note! When setting echo effects always start with low settings and gradually build up, if you take the settings past a certain threshold you will create feedback loops that quickly get out of hand and will build to a very annoying continuous scream. If you go too far just take the repeat dial back to zero and start again.

Many spirit boxes use system of loop scanning the airwaves as a way of communicating with the spirit world. With this system comes the issue of constant pulsing background interference & white noise that can become irritating to many over time. This is where noise reduction comes into play. They cut out and silence continuous background noise frequencies while allowing the EVP or voice to come through with more clarity and silent space around it.

Using noise suppression can loose very faint voices within the background noise so always try out different levels and combinations when doing your research to find a balance that works for you.
