Witches Spell Bottle, Home Protection & Evil Eye Witchcraft
This enchanted spell bottle or "Witches Bottle" has been meticulously created to a very old European spell using the finest traditional dried herbs, leaves, spices and thorns; all are believed to be associated with strong protection properties. We have also added a hand written intention on a paper scroll tied in a thrice knotted thread spell, all to a traditional discipline including strong intention for the force of protection. It also contains many forms of sharp objects such as pins, rusty old nails, screws and various other materials in accordance with the spell instructions. The ingredients have been lovingly infused with ritualistic protective intent directed at the end user. Once the ingredients are in place the bottle is topped up with red wine and sea salted water before being sealed with wax and once again given purpose of intention. Our bottle is also dressed with an "Evil Eye" metal chained charm, and the wax seal is stamped on the top with a protective Pentacle seal.

History of the "Witches Bottle"
"Witches Bottles", also known as Spell bottles, have been in use across the globe in one form or another since at least the 1600s, in fact versions of the idea were even used in ancient Egyptian times. The version we are focusing on here is the traditional "Spell bottle" or "Witches bottle" adapted into our modern magick and Wiccan practices which were created to destroy, trap or deflect, harm, hate or evil intention towards people, places or animals. Originally they were made from ceramic (pottery) vessels, and filled with all kinds of fascinating ingredients related to the person in need of protection. These could be things like hair, nails, urine, blood or semen, as well as a range of sharp objects like nails, pins, thorns, blades or broken glass. Once blended with traditional herbs or spices thought to be protective, they were often walled up into homes or hidden in the ground where no-one would find them. It is thought that these containers would fool the evil intention into thinking they had found the person and would then be trapped by the sharp objects and protective materials in the bottle. Spell bottles of this type continued to be used today by people with an interest in Wicca and the magical arts.
Today spell bottles are made for a variety of purposes, and are used in many ways. Some are still buried or hidden, whilst most are placed in the home, even in prominent places as a thing of curiosity and fascination. The same intention still applies, they are concentrators of energy, created and empowered for specific magical purposes.

What is the evil eye?
The evil eye - first was recorded by the Mesopotamians about 5,000 years ago in cuneiform on clay tablets, but may actually have been around as early as the Upper Paleolithic age. Found in Jewish, Christian and Muslim cultures as well as Buddhist and Hindu societies. The evil eye is a curse cast by a malevolent glare, which is usually directed towards a person. Many cultures believe that receiving the evil eye will cause one misfortune, bad luck or injury, so charms or talismans were created to protect against this evil and are also frequently called "evil eyes"
