Using A Selenite Wand
Wands can be simply held in the hand during meditation, used in cleansing purifying people or spaces, directing energy and intentions in spell making and casting as well as a whole host of crystal charging and enlightening rituals, they are possibly one of the most versatile and positive crystals you can own.
Selenite is especially suited to wand shapes because of the way it naturally forms into long columns. This polished selenite wand is highly polished allowing for the striations to be visible and radiate light within the stone. This luminous aspect of selenite is often attributed to energy healing with light playing a vital role, some even refer to this crystal as "liquid light. It is thought by its many followers to bring purifying white light into the body to heal both physical elements and the auric field. Some even believe that its' natural ability to cleanse, purify and create energy flow throughout the entire energy system will help to restructure and regenerate cells.

The mirror is about 10 cm or just about 4" in size & 1.5 cm thick, ideal to hold in the hands and large enough to have that wow factor. Selenite is very soft and brittle in nature, so always be gentle with your wand, a precise sharp point is very rarely possible and may have a slightly blunt or jagged edge at the tip. Selenite is water soluble, do not get it wet, or allow it to stand in water.
As a totally natural object that is hand tooled no two wands can ever be identical, they will all carry different markings, little impurities and will vary slightly in size smoothness and weight. They will, however, be the average size of around 16cm long x 2cm wide.
