Back In 2005, Wowwee entered into a licensing agreement with Elvis Presley Enterprises to create the Wowwee Alive™ Elvis., the first life-size, realistic functioning bust of the world’s most loved entertainer. More than two years of intense research and development were dedicated to this project. A total of 18 separate sculptures were produced before a perfect recreation was achieved. The animatronic Elvis utilises 10 precision motors in a mechanical bust that conforms to the synthetic skin likeness of Elvis! Specially-developed motion-capture software was used to finely tune the head and facial movements to produce all the subtle motions that create a believable Elvis.

Wowwee Alive Elvis? is a lifelike singing and talking bust of the best-selling solo artist in U.S. history. The most authentic recreation ever of this legendary artist has a flesh like soft silicone skin with realistic hair, sideburns, eyebrows and even individual eye lashes. Set him to "Alive" mode: Elvis moves automatically and responds to and interacts with the world around him his head even turns and tracks your movements while making humorous comments. in "Monologue" mode he'll share his philosophy and key moments from his life and career. In "Song" mode hear him sing eight of his biggest hits. You can also plug a microphone (Not supplied) into the unit and sing duet with Elvis, or go alone karaoke style without his vocals. An iPod or other audio source can also be played via the speakers in the unit by-passing the Elvis robot altogether.
He comes with a '68 Comeback Special style microphone-shaped remote controller. The song and monologue cartridge contains eight of some of his best-loved songs: That's All Right, Hound Dog, Heartbreak Hotel, Love Me Tender, Jailhouse Rock, Blue Suede Shoes, Trouble, Baby What You Want Me To Do.also includes 37 interview style monologues about his life and career, in his own voice.
